Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are one way to store information in a browser. localStorage and sessionStorage are different from HTTP cookies. This notice describes the public site; signed-in features may use additional storage for authentication and operation.

Local storage

This site uses browser local storage for preferences and technical operation. Keys: sokol-lang, sokol.theme, sokol-content-landing, sokol-public-identity. Values remain until replaced or removed by the site or through browser settings.

Session storage

sokol-public-guest: holds technical public-access state during the tab session and is removed when that session ends. Public-access identities allow content requests to Amazon Web Services and are not used here as advertising identifiers.

External services and optional tracking

Public content uses Amazon Web Services. Some fonts are requested from Google Fonts, generating requests to Google with technical connection information. This launch does not enable optional analytics or advertising trackers. If we introduce optional technologies requiring consent, we will update this notice and provide controls before activation.

How to control storage

You can inspect or clear site data in your browser’s privacy settings and change theme or language using available controls. Clearing or blocking storage may reset preferences or affect features. For questions, email pacificcoelabs@gmail.com.
